A couple weeks ago Tom and I headed to San Francisco. Tom had a last minute work trip on a Monday and it happened to be my birthday weekend so we decided, why not make a full weekend trip out of it? I don’t visit home enough so any chance to go back to the bay area is always a good one. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Our first stop was a brunch place called Outerlands in Outer Sunset. Come early if you’re headed here on a weekend because we had to wait about 40 minutes. The interior is warming and inviting and the eggs in jail is a must try!
Afterward wandering around for a bit we headed over to the financial district to get an idea of where the Deloitte office was. Since we have to eat like ever 2 hours, it was almost time for our lunch. We made plans to eat at the Hog Island since Tom has never been so we headed over there and walked along the embarcadero till we hit the ferry building.
Whats great is you can have a drink while you wait in line outside. Since the weather was perfect, waiting outside was not a problem. Once we finally sat down, we went full out and ordered a variety of oysters.
They do know how to pour a proper full glass of wine 🙂
